Our Story
TurnKey Builders is a full-service custom home building company. Our objective is to offer a product, price point, and professional service that is so often “talked about” but rarely delivered. We are an exclusive builder that only offers to build a specific amount of homes throughout each year. The reason for this is to ensure the high-level of attention, supervision, and expertise necessary to make each custom home that we offer a successful experience for our customers.
When building with TurnKey Builders, you will receive dedicated effort and will have constant contact with Greg Hoppes, owner of TurnKey Builders. Greg has been building homes of all sizes, prices, and levels of complexity for nearly two decades.

Melissa Hoppes
Principle Interior Designer
Melissa Hoppes brings more than two decades of experience in commercial design to the world of luxury residential interiors. After years of creating thoughtful, functional spaces in commercial environments, Melissa found her true passion in designing homes that are both beautifully considered and deeply personal to the people who live in them.
In 2014, Melissa and her husband, Greg, founded TurnKey Builders, combining his vision and entrepreneurial drive with her expertise in design, space planning, architectural detailing, and material selection. As an interior designer, Melissa takes a comprehensive approach to each home, thoughtfully shaping everything from floor plans and spatial flow to architectural details, exterior materials, interior finishes, lighting, and cabinetry.
Known for her ability to translate a client’s ideas—even when they’re not quite sure how to articulate them—Melissa creates homes that feel cohesive, timeless, and uniquely personal. Her attention to detail and understanding of how design elements work together allows her to guide clients from the initial concept through the final selections, transforming a house into a home that feels unmistakably their own.
Kelly Close
Custom Home Specialist
Kelly Close is the conduit who turns “let’s build a home” into a signed contract and a plan in motion. With a over two decades of experiance , Kelly is and part of the business development and sales team at TurnKey Builders, she guides clients through those exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) early steps of the homebuilding journey, making sure every question gets answered and every detail gets covered before the first shovel hits the dirt. With a genuine love for people and a knack for making the process feel exciting rather than intimidating, Kelly helps turn homeowner dreams into TurnKey realities.
Clyde Rose
Project Manager
With over 30+ years in residential construction, Clyde is TurnKey Builders’ head project manager, he’s the steady hand guiding every project from foundation to final walkthrough—keeping timelines on track, trades in sync, and clients in the loop every step of the way. Clyde’s decades of hands-on experience mean he’s seen it all, solved it all, and still shows up every day ready to build the next masterpiece.

TurnKey Builders values the “flow” of a project. The “flow” relates to how the design, features, and surrounding areas of the home co-habitat with one another, based on the client’s personality. Our staff and resources will ensure that your decisions and selections collaborate to achieve the goal that we set out to accomplish.
We recognize efficient “lean” building practices. “Lean” building describes how to most efficiently and economically manage the construction of a home, from limiting sub-contractor visits to creatively coordinating the build.
